air pollution
Air pollution is a change in the physical, chemical and biological characteristics of air that causes bad effects on humans and other organisms. The ultimate result is a significant alteration in the natural envirenmental and ecosystem.
Effects of air pollution in our school
1, effets on evironmental
it causes damage to plants and animals affecting biodiversity and crop yields climate change ,acid rain corrosion, the danage of ozonosphere
2, effect on staff and studentes health it triggers respiratory diseases and irritation of eyes and thoroat example ;chest tightness and cough effects on children lead to earache, bronchitis, and asthma
there is some truth from BBC news ;
air pollution causes early deaths ,air pollution is responsible for 310,000premature deaths in europe each year research suggests
1,poor quality air
the main threat to health is posed by tine particles known.as particulate matter ,which can penetrate deep into the respiratery tissue, and even directly into the bloodstream
2,they are emitted by traffic,domestic heating .
so it is important we have facing air pollution in our school for next generation.

air pollution for green school
The first of all, a lots of school buses and parking around our campus, it is a source of air pollution in the school, exhaust pollution is very serious. In our school , lots of school buses are used to shuttle students, all of them will pollute the environment of the school, when school bus transfer students will pollute the environment of the school, We strongly recommend that should minimize school buses and private car parking in the school. Using busses is the best way to reduce pollution! This needs to be changed.
Strategy
We strongly recommend teachers and students take bus or ride a bike instead of school bus, and also recommed some students or teachers who are close to our campus, they can walk to our school, so that you can reduce automobile exhaust pollution in the school environment. We will changed parking area to "green area", so that will greatly reduce air pollution. We will create "a green belt" in the school,a lots of green trees around the campus, the area of ecological park, tree planting, multi-establishment of ecological grassland. They will have a tree planting activity class and maintianing green garden activity class once a week, the extra-curricular activities will aim to help tree planting and maintaing trees in garden. They will interact each other.Build our green campus ,we holp have fresh air evryday. Please make a different today.
Check the results, we conducted a questionnaire survey to teachers and students, make sure our strategy have good results.

The Dangers of Carbon Pollution on the Environment - Al Gore
The atmospheric concentration of carbon dioxide, the major greenhouse gas
directly affected by human activities, has increased by about 30% since the
beginning of the pre- industrial era around 1750 because of the combustion of
fossil fuels and changes in land- use practices. During the same period of time
human activities have also increased the atmospheric concentrations of other
greenhouse gases such as methane and nitrous oxide, and regional pollutants
such as sulfate aerosols. Increased atmospheric concentrations of greenhouse
gases tend to warm the atmosphere, while increased concentrations of aerosols
tend, in some regions, to cool the atmosphere. The Earth's climate, which has
been relatively stable during the past 10,000 years is now changing. (This information form :http://clinton4.nara.gov/WH/EOP/OVP/24hours/vpenv.html)
The earth's surface temperature this century is as warm or warmer than any other
century during the six hundred years, the Earth's surface temperature has
increased by about one degree Fahrenheit over the last century, and the last
few decades have been the hottest this century. In addition, there is evidence
of changes in sea level, glaciers are retreating world-wide, and the incidence
of extreme weather events is increasing in some parts of the world.
Computational models that take into account the observed increases in the
atmospheric concentrations of greenhouse gases and aerosols simulate the
observed changes in temperature quite well, suggesting that there is a
discernible human influence on the Earth's climate.(this information from:http://clinton4.nara.gov/WH/EOP/OVP/24hours/vpenv.html)
