waste management
Waste management is a vital part of our schools effort towards a sustainable future for our students and the community as a whole. There are many simple ways that we can reduce our impact on the environment and limit our use of valuable resources. Our vision is to involve our students in our waste management strategies to develop their awareness of the impact that their choices have on the environment, and provide them with the tools to make the right choices in the way that they live their lives. Through these strategies we are going to increase awareness in both our students, their families, and the wider community. We will be leading by example and doing all that we can through these new initiatives to ensure our students grow into valuable members of society and can lead the way for a better future.
reduce reuse recycle
The many new initiatives we will be using to ensure our school is an important and responsible member of the local community have been modelled around the three r's of recycling, Reduce, Reuse,Recycle. This allows each component to be adresses individually, whilst forming an important component of the overall waste management strategy. A wholistic approach such as this is vital to our goals of raising awareness through engagement and involvement of all members of our school community.
