water saving equipment
Our investment in water saving equipment throughout the school is a vital part of reducing use of one of the worlds most valuable resources -- water.
According to a new report's prediction,WA and Perth areas will face a serious water shortages by 2020, and WA's water demand could rise up to 70%.
The Department of Water predicts that in the coming 20 years, the total water use in WA could rise from 2300 gigalitres to 3900 gigalitres. This prediction is based on the water consumption from 2008 and economic and population modelling. As mentioned in the Water Futures WA report, Perth was considered as the most serious affected area in WA, and Perth`s water problem will become 'absolute deficit' by 2020.
